Terms and Conditions


These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tayari mobile application ("App") and related services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. By installing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.


Tayari is operated by Tayari Go, a digital financial services provider based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The App is available to natural persons who have reached 18 years of age.


USE OF THE APP AND SERVICES


Tayari provides a digital wallet platform that allows users to:

- Send and receive money between Tayari users;

- Withdraw funds via Mobile Money services (M-Pesa, Orange Money, Airtel Money);

- Add funds to their Tayari wallet;

- Make payments to partner merchants;

- View transaction history and manage their account.


Tayari acts as a facilitator for financial transactions between users and between users and third-party services. Tayari does not act as a bank or licensed financial institution. Funds stored in your Tayari wallet are managed in accordance with applicable regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.


You agree and acknowledge that:

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN code and account credentials;

- You are responsible for all transactions made through your account;

- Tayari shall not be held liable for unauthorized transactions resulting from your failure to secure your credentials;

- Transaction processing times for withdrawals may vary between 30 minutes and 24 hours;

- Tayari reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraudulent activity;

- Mobile Money withdrawal fees and limits are subject to the terms of the respective operators (Vodacom M-Pesa, Orange Money, Airtel Money).


ACCOUNT REGISTRATION


To use Tayari, you must create an account by providing your phone number, full name, and email address. You may also be required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification by submitting identity documents. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.


PERSONAL INFORMATION


To use our services, you must create an account on the App. We will collect personally identifiable information including your name, phone number, and email address. For KYC verification purposes, we may also collect identity documents and photographs. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can review and update your profile information at any time through the App settings.


TRANSACTION LIMITS AND FEES


Tayari may impose limits on the amount of money you can send, receive, withdraw, or hold in your wallet. These limits may vary based on your KYC verification level. Transaction fees, if applicable, will be clearly displayed before you confirm any transaction.


PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES


You agree not to use the Tayari App for:

- Any illegal or fraudulent activity;

- Money laundering or financing of terrorism;

- Transactions involving prohibited goods or services;

- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users accounts;

- Any activity that violates applicable laws of the Democratic Republic of Congo.


ACCOUNT TERMINATION


You may request the deletion of your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting support@tayarigo.com. Tayari reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed, except for transaction records retained for regulatory compliance purposes for up to 5 years.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


Tayari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Tayari shall not be responsible for any losses resulting from Mobile Money operator service interruptions or delays. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to Tayari in the 12 months preceding the claim.


MODIFICATIONS


Tayari reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


GOVERNING LAW


These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kinshasa.
