How to Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your Tayari account and all associated data, you can do so directly from the app or by following the instructions below.

Option 1: Delete from the App

1. Open the Tayari app on your device
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
3. Tap on Delete Account
4. Enter your PIN to confirm
5. Your account will be permanently deleted

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

Send an email to support@tayarigo.com with the following information:

• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• Your registered phone number (including country code)
• Your full name as registered in the app

We will process your request within 72 hours.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Your account balance and wallet data
• Your saved contacts and beneficiaries
• Your app preferences and settings

Data Retention

In accordance with applicable financial regulations, the following data may be retained for a period of up to 5 years after account deletion:

• Transaction history (for regulatory compliance and audit purposes)
• KYC (Know Your Customer) verification records

This retained data is stored securely and is not used for any purpose other than regulatory compliance.

Important Notes

• Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
• Please ensure your account balance is zero (0) before requesting deletion
• Any pending transactions will be completed or cancelled before deletion
• If you have any remaining balance, please withdraw or transfer it before requesting deletion
